Audit Bureau suggested that on local routes, monthly impressions ranged from one to four millions
hits. These numbers are impressive. Another study on vehicle graphics advertising from Product
Acceptance and Research said that 94% of respondents recalled seeing the vehicle wrap, with 80%
recalling the specific advertisement. The studied wrap advertisements resulted in a sales increase
of 107%.
Vehicle graphics are less expensive than you might think. A well designed
vehicle vinyl wrap will pay for itself within months, days or even hours in some cases. Vehicle
wraps can make thousands upon thousands of impressions everyday. Over time those impressions become
multiple impressions...your brand and service become ingrained into your potential buyers minds and
eventually even “John Doe” will call, because you made an impression on him with the
vehicle graphic wrap on your car, van or truck. Most companies agree that outdoor advertising is
cheap advertising in the sense that it makes so many more impressions over time than any other form
of advertising.
With an average vehicle wrap costing around $3,000, it is money well
spent. Especially when you consider how much you are paying for banner ads or pay per click, or the
cost of your flyer mailer campaigns. The return on investment can be much more interesting with wrap
advertising. This is particularly true when you consider that the average vehicle wrap can last
three to five years depending on your location.
When evaluating the best ways to spend
your advertising budget, remember to include vehicle graphics. Not only is it a fairly affordable
form of advertising, it will allow you to make constant, consistent contacts everywhere you go.
Given the life span of a vehicle wrap, your initial investment will in fact represent pennies per
day and while reaching tens of thousands of potential buyers every single day.
