Quote :
"Silent Nite positions the lower jaw into a forward position by means of special connectors that are attached to the upper and lower forms. These forms are custom laminated with heat and pressure to the dentist’s model of your mouths providing an excellent and comfortable fit with minimal size to the appliance." - Dentalgentlecare

Palatal Implantation is a procedure, relatively new, that under anesthesia, Small plastic implants, about an inch-long, are inserted into the soft palate with a syringe type instrument. Scar tissue then builds up around the area of the implants, causing the tissue in the soft palate to stiffen diminishing the muscle movements that cause snoring. It is new and expensive. You may want to try a nose clip or mask that sends air into your airway.

As always, check with your doctor to find out which is best for you.
