U. S. Constitution Fails All 3 Tests For A Christian Government
By:
Dennis Woods -
Ratification of the U. S. Constitution boiled down
to a showdown in Virginia between Federalist James
Madison and Anti-Federalist Patrick Henry. Henry
almost prevailed, but the Constitution was
ratified by a slim eight-vote margin. The
Constitution replaced the governing authority of
God with that of "we the people" and although the
words do not appear in the U. S. Constitution, it
set up a "wall of separation" between God and the
new government.

Andy Austim -
Home schools are defined as environments wherein
educational programs are taught outside of the
conventional schools, more specifically at home,
where lessons are learned by children under
parental supervision. Accredited home school
programs are thought by a growing number of
parents to be the ideal alternative to schooling
in regular facilities.

you probably wonder if you'll be the only one in
your area. However, with the ever increasing

likely. Finding other homeschoolers, however, may

Home Schooling Your Child Early
By:
Danise B. Keasda -
Many parents worry about identifying the
appropriate time to begin homeschooling their
young children. What they do not realize is that
quite often they have already begun homeschooling
although they may not call it that. When you
interact with your infant, talking to her,
engaging her, you are homeschooling your child.
When you teach your child how to tie his shoes or
count to ten, you are homeschooling. Many parents
"homeschool" their children without ever realizing
it. But what the experts say is so true:
education begins at home.

Was George Washington A Christian, Or Not? Conclusive Evidence!
By:
Dennis Woods -
The mythological portrait of the Christianity of
George Washington painted by many of his
biographers does not square with volumes of
official and private papers in the Washington
archives. Better to look at the Constitution he
gave us, than what he said or was said about him.

Disadvantages Of Homeschooling
By:
Albert Wellsom -
Homeschooling is becoming an increasingly popular
option with many American families. Not only are
you in full charge of the homeschool curriculum,
you can even adjust it according to the needs of
your child and completely forget about the trauma
of attending a public school. Teaching your
children at home can be accomplished several ways.
There are three options: 1) Purchase a program
from one of the homeschool curriculum providers,
or buy used homeschool curriculum 2) Read to your
child from great books, and explore the world
together paying attention to what interests your
child or 3) Design your own homeschool curriculum
for free using the internet and the library. Teach
your kids to get more organized. Award the kids
for doing a good job.

How Home Schooling Got Started
By:
Danise B. Keasda -
Home schooling is something which has been with us
for a long time now. After all, it was until
fairly recently the only educational option open
to many children. Home schooling has been coming
back into style in this country. For many
different reasons, some parents are not happy with
the schools in their area. If they have the free
time to educate their children in the home, they
will then often choose to do so.

Probably the biggest concern for parents who

A Look At Why Families Homeschool
By:
Rachel Rae -
There are many reasons why families choose to
homeschool. Some include not having to wake them
up at 7AM or earlier, bundle off to school with
umpteen instructions, then wait anxiously until
their return home. Homeschool gives more
influence over what comes into your child's life
that affects them. The growth and development of
your child is not in the realm of the unknown.
You can decide on the needs of your child for
learning. Customizing the curriculum to suit the
needs and interest of your child is another huge
benefit to homeschooling.

Schooling At Home- 99% Of America's Families
By:
Anna Hodges -
Yes, it is true. According to other parents, along
with my personal experience, the average child in
today's public schools brings home two to four
hours of homework each day. Most teachers expect
parents to go over, and correct the homework
before the children take it back to school. Now,
of course, we need to be helping our children, but
there is a big difference between helping them and
walking them through their homework. Are we not
doing the teachers' job and schooling our children
after school when we do this?
