To learn how to choose your keywords, see the end of this article. Now that you have your keywords selected, it's time to get the content for your articles. If you have the proper knowledge to write an article on your chosen topic - Great! If not, you need to spend a bit of time researching and collecting content to develop your articles.

STOP!!

I'm not saying to steal content from other people, companies, etc. You do not need to know much or anything at all about your topic and still be able to write a great article.

The way this works is by selecting bits of content from different sites and resources that have the correct knowledge. After you have the required content, you can compile it and then re-write the content in your words. You can change words, add more or delete some. It's up to you - it's your article!

Some great sources for getting your article's content are:

  • Search for ["keyword phrase" + forums] on Google

By using forums, you will be able to find questions related to your topic, this will also benefits members of the forum once you have created the article. Let them know about.

  • Search for ["keyword phrase" + news] on Google
  • Search for ["keyword phrase"] on Google
  • Search Google Groups for "keyword phrase"
  • Get FAQs on your topic
  • Search article directories for your keyword phrase ex: EzineArticles, GoArticles, Isnare Articles

After collecting this content, you must rewrite it. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece, but it has to be your own, by making it unique. The search engines love unique content. Duplicate content is seen as a bad thing to search engines. In order to make another article unique, about 90% of the article content must be different or changed.
