There's a popular saying that Amsterdam is where you go to party and thus, it is no surprise that
there are numerous places where you can drop by for your favorite drink - at equally tasty prices of
course. But where to go? There's so much on offer! Many tourists end up in the areas of Leidseplein
or Rembrandtsplein, these are one of the more touristy parts of the city. They are still great
places, but if you really want to visit a local place where the Dutch go to drink, you should try to
find a place a bit off the beaten track.
Here's my selection of the top 5 places to drink
in Amsterdam. The places are chosen because they provide great local atmosphere for socializing and
conversation while serving drinks at adequate prices. I've included the full addresses for your
convenience.
