FAQ

What makes AffSphere different from all the other article syndication sites?

AffSphere was designed by affiliate marketers, for affiliate marketers. Our goal is to help you get more traffic to your affiliate sites, and to earn more affiliate commissions, even if you are a brand new affiliate just starting out.

We want to make it easy for even the most inexperienced affiliate marketers to start generating traffic and commissions through the power of syndicated content. AffSphere helps you do this through the "credits" you earn every time you submit an article to our directory.

What is the credit system all about?

Every time you submit an article to AffSphere, you earn credits. You can use those credits to "buy" traffic and advertising on the AffSphere site.

When you redeem credits for traffic, you will get more article impressions throughout the Category you submitted to. That means your article will show up more often in the search results. You can also upload an affiliate banner, and redeem credits for banner impressions on the AffSphere network. Enter your AdSense code in your account, and it will rotate throughout the entire AffSphere site, so you can make money from AdSense, too. And you will also get traffic through the links in your articles and author resource boxes.

Best of all, you have complete flexibility in how you use your credits. You can use them just for banner ad impressions, just for AdSense, just for article impressions, or any combination you wish.

What is this about Affiliate Classroom students getting double credits?

Yes, all Affiliate Classroom students in good standing automatically earn double credits in the AffSphere system. It is our way of saying thank you to our students, as well as helping them build their affiliate business through content marketing.

Do I get credits for referring other people to AffSphere?

Yes, AffSphere allows you to take your traffic and earnings viral through our referral program. You earn additional credits each time someone joins AffSphere through your referral link, as long as they are not already a member of AffSphere of course. You are also paid a percentage of all your referrals' AdSense revenue - down through five levels of participation.

How many articles can I submit per day?

We don't set any limits on the number of articles you can submit, or when you can submit them. However, to avoid sending up red flags with our human reviewers, please try to keep your submissions to a reasonable daily level - under 20 articles per Category per day.

What kinds of articles can I submit to AffSphere?

Please read our Rules and Regulations page, especially the section on Article Submission Guidelines.

How are you going to handle people who SPAM AffSphere or abuse the system?

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward anyone who attempts to submit SPAM articles, keyword-stuffed articles, stolen articles, PLR articles that have not been sufficiently rewritten, public domain articles, or otherwise violates the Rule and Regulations for participation in AffSphere.

What do you mean by a "zero tolerance policy?"

We mean your account will be closed, you will lose all your credits, all your articles (whether SPAM or not) will be purged from the database, Your banner ad impressions will cease, and your AdSense code will be purged from the rotation.

In brief, your account will be terminated and you will immediately forfeit all credits, traffic, ads, and AdSense earnings. This is to protect everyone who participates in AffSphere from having our article directory suffer from junk articles and SPAM.

Can I use affiliate links in articles I submit to AffSphere?

Yes, you can use affiliate links in your articles - up to three per article, and up to two in your author box.

However, we recommend that you do NOT use long affiliate URLs as is. First, long URLs can break the layout of your article, making it unattractive to readers and webmasters who might want to syndicate your article on their sites. And second, because they are obviously affiliate URLs, you open yourself up to having readers circumvent your URL or hijack your commissions by substituting their own affiliate ID for yours.

We recommend that you redirect all your affiliate URLs through a redirect, either on your domain registrar, on your own server, or through a redirect service like TinyURL.com.

Your reviewer rejected my article, can I appeal to someone higher up in the chain?

No, the decision of our reviewers is final. All our reviewers judge your article against the Article Submission Guidelines found on our Rules and Regulations page. If your article was rejected, it most likely it violated one or more of the Guidelines. Also be sure to check that your article does not contain any non-permitted content, as described on the Rules and Regulations page.

Why do you have such strict article content guidelines?

Because we are showing Google AdSense ads throughout AffSphere, and you'll be earning AdSense revenue (if you choose to). Google's policies prohibit AdSense ads from being shown on web pages with specific types of content, such as adult, gambling, prescription drugs, etc. and AffSphere must abide by those policies.

For a complete list of prohibited content, please review our Rules and Regulations page.

It's been three days since I submitted an article and it still hasn't been approved - now what?

It can take up to four business days (not including weekends) for your article to be reviewed. If you have not received an approval or rejection notice via email after that time, check your spam or junk mail folder and be sure to whitelist the affsphere.com domain. You can also log into your account to see the status of your article submissions.

When I check the AdSense Publisher ID on my article pages, it's not mine! Shouldn't all my article pages show my AdSense code?

Actually no. Your AdSense Publisher ID is rotated at random throughout all the AdSense ads on the entire AffSphere website. This is done for two reasons. One, to prevent authors from accidentally (or intentionally) clicking their own AdSense ads. And two, so you can earn AdSense revennue not just based on the topic of your article (which may not be the highest-paying), but on all kinds of topics (some of which may pay very high indeed!).

When I reprint AffSphere articles on my website, can I substitute the affiliate links with my own?

No. This is a violation of our Terms of Use. Please review the AffSphere Terms of Use page before reprinting articles on your website or in your ezine.

Why did you reject the affiliate banner I submitted?

There are many reasons a banner may not be approved, but it was most likely for one of two reasons.

First, in most cases the content of your banner violated the Banner Submission Guidelines on the Rules and Regulations page. Be sure to review those Guidelines carefully, especially the Acceptable Banner Content Guidelines.

Or second, that exact same banner has already been submitted by 50 or more AffSphere members. Our reviewers want to avoid showing the exact same banner ad too many times within a Category - that causes readers to become "ad blind" and ignore the banner ads altogether. Most merchants provide multiple banner designs for their products, so simply upload another one.
